About VLA

Voice Linking Association (VLA) is a non-profit organization based in Toronto which is dedicated to creating a unique community for youth and families that integrates exploration, interaction, and awakening, redefining the value and direction of education in the AI era.

For youth, this is an immersive growth community. Through diverse experiences such as cross-cultural exchanges, interdisciplinary learning, and debate workshops, young people can transcend classroom boundaries, broaden their international perspectives, and forge skills in expression, critical thinking, and cross-disciplinary innovation—preparing them for future opportunities and challenges.

For families, this is a space for intergenerational integration. VLA creates an interactive environment for shared exploration and cognitive growth, enabling parents and children to evolve together amid the new technological wave. They share the joy of discovery while building the collective capacity to navigate future transformations.

VLA members come from Canada, China, Japan, and the United States, with our primary onsite activity located in Toronto, Canada.

About VLA Youth Committee

The VLA Youth Committee is the primary operational team of the VLA, composed entirely of youth members. Here, young people take the lead: we read classic works in the humanities and social sciences, explore how education evolves in the age of AI, engage in dialogue on global issues, design our own social investigations, write research reports, launch and operate innovative projects, and think critically about what human happiness means in an AI-shaped world.

At VLA, we — the youth — actively re-examine what education should look like in this era of rapid technological change. For us, learning is not just receiving knowledge; it is discovering personal values, connecting technology with humanity, and shaping our own perspectives. While we collaborate with adults as equal partners and invited contributors, we maintain the core belief that human judgement, empathy, and imagination are irreplaceable. Together, we explore how technology can empower good decisions and help young people cultivate meaningful and fulfilling lives.
